VEGAS, Baby!!!
Stephanie and I went to Las Vegas over Spring Break for a few days. We had a fun time! Here we are playing the quarter slot machines.
And our big winnings: (If you can't see that, I won $0.15, and she got $0.05.)
We actually ended up doing just fine. I took $20 out of my wallet the whole time and was able to put $20 back in.

The Bellagio was just beautiful, with flowers everywhere.
This is a replica of Trevi Fountains in Rome.
We rented a car for the day and went to Hoover Dam. Quite a big structure! And beautiful scenery.
We also drove to Red Rock Canyon. We have several pictures that look completely different. The landscape will change drastically, randomly. Very cool! =)

Spring Breakin'
I started Spring Break heading up to Freed to see my brother in his Makin' Music. (Awww... LU girls, are you having floods of memories of Singarama???) It's quite different but still enjoyable. Since it takes so long to get there, we got to stop and see my grandparents. =)

It was also the weekend of the Battle of Shiloh, and they had a reinactment. Very cool!

On Tuesday, my friend Darcy and I went to the Bodies and Dialog in the Dark exhibits. I'm sure you've heard of Bodies- very cool looking at all the parts. Dialog left us blind for an hour and a half. It's started in Germany 10 yrs. ago and has just come to the U.S. The point was not to simulate blindness but to encourage the other senses. However we were in pitch blackness with canes, walking through simulated parks, grocery stores, cities, restaurant. It was quite frustrating but a great experience! Make sure you go if it comes to a nearby city.
