I started Spring Break heading up to Freed to see my brother in his Makin' Music. (Awww... LU girls, are you having floods of memories of Singarama???) It's quite different but still enjoyable. Since it takes so long to get there, we got to stop and see my grandparents. =)It was also the weekend of the Battle of Shiloh, and they had a reinactment. Very cool!On Tuesday, my friend Darcy and I went to the Bodies and Dialog in the Dark exhibits. I'm sure you've heard of Bodies- very cool looking at all the parts. Dialog left us blind for an hour and a half. It's started in Germany 10 yrs. ago and has just come to the U.S. The point was not to simulate blindness but to encourage the other senses. However we were in pitch blackness with canes, walking through simulated parks, grocery stores, cities, restaurant. It was quite frustrating but a great experience! Make sure you go if it comes to a nearby city.
