Are there any Harry Potter fans out there??? If you live on Mars: the book came out this morning at 12am. I was planning on going then but decided against it. I got lazy and knew I had an open Saturday morning. And I wasn't sure I wanted to see all the wizards and witches again like I saw at the midnight movie viewing. I am so excited to have the final book!!! What do you think will happen? I've heard rumors about deaths. I will just die if Harry ends up dying. Surely good will conquer evil. But J.K. does seem to enjoy writing with a dark side.
Our preacher's wife reads each book in like a day. I like to savor them, reading only a few chapters at a time. I stretch them out to make them last a couple weeks.
And has anyone seen Movie 5??? What did you think of it? It was my favorite book, but I felt like 1/2 the book was left out. I was pretty disappointed.
Okay, too much time already spent on the topic of Harry. My friend Diana is dragging me away from the book tonight. (She is not a Harry fan!)

I read the first book in a day (I'm not one to savor books--I gulp them down) and then went to see the movie. The movie, of course, was a disappointment. The book is always better. Honestly, I haven't read any more since then. I'm a little behind!
I am getting the book tomorrow and am so excited! I haven't seen the movie yet, but have heard mixed reviews. And I have never seen anything like Books-a-million last night--CRAZY!
i share your love of reading....but not your love of harry. it never "grabbed me". but i wish you a wonderful final chapter...haha! :o)
Ah...well...you might as well be talking about soy bean crop expansion on the west side of the Yellow Sea in China on this one. I really, really, really, really don't get the whole Harold Potter thing.
I do like Man vs. Wild though!
I just saw your comment on Elizabeth's page about your brother getting goldfish and M&M's for pottying. He learned to count that way?! That's too funny!!!
When is the big move? Don't dessert the south for too long. I don't want you to turn into a Yankee. :-)
KIM-
Thanks for the message on my blog. I just realized it was you. Have you been leaving messages all along?
Now I can check on you too!! Glad you are doing so good.
This is totally random, but.... lately I've been thinking about you moving to NY, and all I'm picturing is you standing in the streets doing a Mary Tyler Moore spin. You know, the one where she spins and throws her hat up in the air. That's what I see in my head anyway! :-)
