Well, I have not been camping before in a tent. I had always thought we were supposed to have beanie-weenies in a pot over the fire. Basically, my camping frame of reference has come from movies. Stephanie thought that was crazy!!! So here we go, off to the North Georgia mountains.I had no idea how full my car would get. Me, the light packer, just brings a little backpack and a sleeping bag. Both Amie and Stephanie are expert campers, so I was in good hands.
Putting up the tent was so easy and so much fun! We had yummy hotdogs and little pies cooked over the fire. But, mind you, fall has come. So sleeping in a freezing tent was... interesting. I finally gave up at 7am and got in my car. We then went hiking and saw some beautiful sights. Thanks for a great first camping trip, girls!

Gorgeous scenery! I took a little camping trip a few weeks back, and like you, I wasn't sure what to expect.
